On June 8, 2018, Eureka Police Captain Brian Stephens graduated from the 272nd session of the FBI National Academy Program in Quantico, Virginia. The academy consisted of 232 men and women of law enforcement agencies from 48 states, the District of Columbia, international countries, military organizations, and federal civilian organizations.
According to a FBI press release, “The FBI National Academy offers ten weeks of advanced communication, leadership, and fitness training for selected officers having proven records as professionals within their agencies. On average, these officers have 21 years of law enforcement experience and usually return to their agencies to serve in executive-level positions.”
The Eureka Police Department is extremely proud of Captain Stephens and his accomplishments and look forward to the insight he has gained during his time at the National Academy.
