Eureka Fire Department is accepting applications for Volunteer Firefighter. The Volunteer Program supplements and complements the career firefighting force. Volunteer firefighters not only respond to all large fires and emergencies within the greater Eureka area, they also train and ride along with the on-duty companies on a regular basis.
The selection process includes: Application, Physical Ability Test, Interview Board, Criminal Records Check, Background Check, Medical Exam, Recruit Academy.
Applicant requirements include: Must live in the Eureka area, Must be at least 18 years old, Must be physically fit.
