Eureka City Hall will be closed from December 26, 2016 thru January 2, 2017. This week between Christmas and New Year is a slow time of the year for business conducted in City Hall. Employees will be working during this closure or taking planned vacation time. Utility payments will be accepted through the website or at the drop box located outside of City Hall at the 6th street entrance. All other city offices will remain open including the Police Department, Humboldt Bay Fire, Adorni Center and Public Work’s buildings. Citizens who are planning to do work during this time period should obtain permits prior to the planned closure. No service of process will be accepted during this time.
